Pete Lacker is a professional photographer who lives in our neighborhood, and Lisa had worked with him when she was working at Intecom.  He's interested in doing more photography with children, and he asked if he could shoot some photos of Jack and Cate.  Never looking a gift horse in the mouth, we immediately accepted.  He even gave us a couple of prints and the original image files.

I'm definitely suffering from camera-envy.  Although I wasn't there when he took the photos, I can tell that he has a Canon 1Ds.  I can also tell he must have some phenomenal lenses with very low aperture settings.  Maybe we can arrange a trade -- he can take more photos of our kids and I can borrow some of his camera equipment.  You never know, he might fall for it...
