We thought we'd be walking along a river with occasional swimming opportunities. We quickly discovered we'd spend our time in the river. At first, the water seemed a bit cold, but one of the guides quickly set the tone by showing us a deeper part of the river where we were each instructed to do a cannonball. After that, there was never any doubt: we were there to get wet and enjoy the Mayfield River.
