Throughout the night, both Lisa and I thought we heard frequent claps of thunder, which is an unusual thing to be hearing on a Caribbean island. In the morning, we discovered we were actually hearing violent seas crashing on the nearby shoreline. It also happened to be the morning of Courtney's wedding, so there was a little consternation that the weather might impinge upon the festivities.
