Like the rest of us, the kids loved watching the waves crash against the shore, and I don't think anyone regretted missing a morning at the beach. The seas would've been too rough to swim anyway. I had been hoping to scuba dive this morning. The dive master at our hotel said there were some nice reefs within swimming distance, and they were shallow enough to permit uncertified divers (read: Grandpa Dick) to join us. With the seas so rough, however, there was absolutely no way to get in or (more importantly) out of the water.
