Jack and Cate Update -- January, 2008

The previous evening (our sixth and final day in Jamaica) we finally enjoyed hot showers for the first time. We were so excited, we no longer noticed the general dumpishness that pervades the bathroom. The night before we offered a reward to Jack if he would take a shower as soon as he awoke in the morning with no complaining. When he arose, he immediately headed to the bathroom and said, "I need to take a shower now." Neither Lisa nor I can remember what we offered Jack, and upon reflection that really seems like something important to remember for future use. Jack was so enthusiastic, he did what he called his "Hot, Hot, Hot Shower Dance.". You should've been there.
