Subject: Magic
Our (let's be honest, my) iPad arrived yesterday, and it's most definitely magical. So much so, that I'm getting a little teary. I mean, it completes me. Errr... and the wife. Lisa definitely completes me too. And the kids. For sure, them too.
While we bask in the glory of all things iPad, feel free to slum through a few family bullet points or the even slummier printer-friendly version.
- Walking the dog, a stray branch from a pile of downed limbs knocked my glasses off. For two minutes, I groped on the ground like Velma on Scooby Doo
- We had dinner with the Readhimer's early this month. Luckily, Jack fell in their pool fully-clothed (twice) and later fell down their stairs. Still looking for a good lawyer...
- Cate to Lisa: "I can't believe Friend-A said that about Friend-B right in front of me! I'm still pissed-off about that." Reminder: she's 8.
- Cate took a dish towel from the drawer, wiped her feet with it, and returned it to the drawer. No risk you'll join us for dinner, is there?
- The kids and I watched The Princess Bride) on Netflix/Wii. They both loved it, but Cate didn't care for all the stabby-stabby at the end
- Although we neglected photographic evidence, the whole played 90 minutes of tennis at Tokolon Park. That's about five minutes for every year since the last time I played tennis, but Grandpa Dick would've approved
That's it for now!
