Cate joined me on a business trip to New

stayed next door at the Marriott Marquis. It
absolutely blew us away, and I think we'll remember this
trip for the rest of our lives.

When the show opened with the same scene as the
movie, I was worried we were in for a long night of simply
rehashing the original material. I needn't have
worried. The music was original and funny.
Truly light musical fare, but it certainly lived up to its
impressive reputation. It rained cats-and-dogs after
the show, and I had to abandone my plans to take a take a
taxi back to the hotel near the World Trade Center
site. Instead, I had to find and take a subway
downtown. I was soaked to the core.
